Welcome to the West Herr Automotive Group, New York State’s Largest Auto Dealer.
West Herr is recognized by nearly every major vehicle manufacturer we represent for the high quality of service our staff delivers to our customers. We believe that a satisfied employee will give their best efforts to deliver satisfaction to our customers.
West Herr has earned the distinction of being a Best Place to Work in WNY for nine years straight by Business First in the category of companies with 401 and more employees. Business First ranks local businesses based on employee surveys, and West Herr employees made it clear they work for a company that inspires both personal and professional growth.
“This company is willing to give you their best if you give them your best,” Mike Wilkinson, Sales Consultant at Ford, Lincoln, Mercury in Amherst. 17 years of service.
The owners and partners at West Herr are known for their dedicated and caring nature. President Scott Bieler was named Executive of the Year at the 2009 Buffalo Niagara Sales and Marketing Executives (BNSME) awards. Bieler dedicates much of his time and resources to the Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Vice President John Wabick is involved with Hospice while VP Bill Loecher volunteers with Ride for Roswell and Child and Family Services. Chairman Brad Hafner is heavily involved with Hilbert College, among other organizations.
Each of the partners live in the Buffalo area and personally visit each West Herr dealership. Scott Bieler makes it a point to speak at each new hire training session and meet new employees. West Herr promotes an environment of open communication.
“It’s comforting to know that Scott’s door is always open, for whatever you need,” Joe Steinert, blueprint coordinator at the West Herr Collision Center. 25 years of service.
West Herr also offers extensive employee benefits. Employees get discounts on car purchases, service and accessories. We offer 401k programs plus health and dental coverage. What sets West Herr apart is the community atmosphere among the employees. Recently, the staff at Toyota Williamsville held a dress down day to raise money for the Variety Kids Telethon, over 800 employees participated. We also have a strong showing at the annual Gus Macker Tournament and are involved with local schools and churches. We recently helped St John The Baptist School strengthen their online presence and boost enrollment. We even participated in the Walk for the Victims of Flight 3407.
